![]() People should park, and go into a building (like a gift shop) to pay and have plenty of vehicles to rent. ![]() You need to build real restrooms for the amount of people going through the park. You would make a lot of money by having a gift shop. The four pieces of advice that I would give those in charge of Harmony Park Safari. There were many "workers" walking around the grounds, so I know the animals and grounds are taken care of. Many of the enclosures need to be a little bigger. As another person mentioned, I thought the whole reptile house needed to be bigger. The "sink" to wash your hands in has green and brown furry stuff growing in it. Please know that their "bathrooms" are two porta potties that look and smell like they haven't been cleaned out in a year. there is a lot of MUD and it stinks! My daughter had flip flops on which was a BAD idea. We went in this enclosure which was neat but beware. After the driving tour, we found that you could pay 1.00 for a cup of lettuce to give to the tortoises. I will say that the Safari in Georgia is much larger and has more animals. As the driver, I couldn't enjoy the animals, but my husband and daughter enjoyed it. It just ate my red cup! Seriously! Plastic red cups littered the grounds everywhere on the path. We had a lot of slobber on our car and had to use the red cups to throw food way away from the car so the car wouldn't be damaged. There are buffalo, Rams, and various cattle with long horns that CAN do serious damage to your car. So, I took a risk and went for it in MY CAR! I will not drive my own car through again. No one in front of me rented a vehicle and there were at least twenty cars behind me. I stopped and said, "What about the rental of a vehicle." It was then that the lady said, "You can rent a vehicle for 15.00 but most people don't." I was at the "red light" and it turned green for me to go. As I was pulling away from the drive through window at this Safari, I realized that I was being "dumped" into the Safari path with MY CAR. We have always rented the Safari vehicles or participated in a Safari tour where someone else drives a van. As a matter of fact, in the past, I've only seen ONE person drive their own car through a Safari (not at this Safari), and it was damaged as the Long Horn Cattle made a LONG scratch down the side of their vehicle. At each Safari park that I have been to, the rental of a park vehicle has always been encouraged. At the drive through window, there was NO mention or even sign of renting a vehicle to ride through the park. We purchased two buckets which is what was recommended, and we did use it. ![]() At the "drive thru", they ask if you want to purchase food (a bucket is 5.00 with a plastic red cup for dipping out the food). I found it interesting that you "drive up" to pay instead of parking, getting out and going into a building to pay. I have been to several Safari attractions, so my review is more of a comparison. ![]()
